When Business Insider reached out, an OpenAI spokesperson shared a tweet from one of their team members acknowledging the higher error rates and promising a speedy fix.
Whenever ChatGPT was asked a few questions, instead of the usual witty responses, it was, "Oops! Something's not right. Contact us at help.openai.com if this keeps up."
This isn't the first time ChatGPT has taken a sudden break. Whenever OpenAI rolls out new features, these hiccups tend to tag along. Interestingly, just before this mess started, OpenAI announced a version of ChatGPT that responds to voice commands. Talk about timing!
